Fish processing plant building expansion and reconstruction
A very important achievement of our company is fish processing plant of MORPOL S.A. expansion, a global leader in salmon production market, included in Marine Harvest ASA capital group.
We were the general contractor of the project involving production halls construction of total area of 12 thousand square meters. The project was completed in a record time of 6 months, i.e. from June 2015 to January 2016. Please note that the condition for construction works was to maintain manufacturing process in the plant.
Thanks to cooperation with our subcontractors, we managed to complete the project in a timely manner, including construction, installation, electrical and land development works and a large number of additional works, commissioned by the Investor outside the main contract, constituting the first stage of plant expansion and reconstruction.
In August 2016, the Investor entrusted us with the second stage of plant reconstruction. This was carried out based on building permit design, which we developed on our own. In this stage, we carried out a comprehensive manufacturing hall reconstruction of 2,200 square meters. The scope of works included dismantling the structure and building a new facility from scratch, together with a flyover for installations and building a fire separation wall. Also in this case, carrying out works inside a working manufacturing plant was a very big challenge.
