In 2014, at the request of PPHU HORTULUS, we manufactured and installed an openwork steel structure of an observation tower in the theme garden of ornamental plants. The tower was made as a DNA helix – it consists of two flights of stairs and reflects its spatial model. The total height of the tower is 19.1 m and the diameter is 9.5 m. The observation deck for visitors is located at a height of 18m. The foundation of the structure is a reinforced concrete slab in the shape of an octagon which is 60 cm thick. The tower was presented in the TVN television network by Maja Popielarska in the popular program “Maja w ogrodzie” [“Maja in the Garden”] (http://majawogrodzie.tvn.pl/198,Ogrody-pokazowe-Hortulus-Spectabilis-odc-484,odcinek.html).
